So Here We Are….

Posted: April 21, 2011 in LIFE

Soooo it’s been a while since my last post and since then lets see, a lot has happend I’m not sure where to start.  Well I’m still working at CRDN currently dating a great girl, going to be moving out of my moms soon which will be cool but an adventure.

Things one year ago were insane and I’m starting to finally make sense of it all and getting it all put back together.  I can tell you this there is definantly a good side of leaving and I didn’t get that, I got stiffed with the knife in the back side.  But at this point it doesn’t matter much does it.  I would like to say thank you for finally leaving me alone and no I’m sorry it has been done better look back at what I gave you, you selfish bitch, but I digress.

Summer is right around the corner and I have set myself a goal 40lbs in 90 days, thats my weight loss goal. I’m hoping I can stick with it and so far today I’ve had no caffine and only one soda which is a good start.  water, water, water is where its at.

Well this is it a new begining allows for the closing of past chapters although that may be hard at times it all that can be done.  So chin up kids and enjoy the ride because guess what life sucks so get a helmet.  But here we go another summer!  Stay tuned for more! and if theres anything you’d like discussed bring it up….

Mr. Chi City is his name and killin bugs is his game, hit play and laugh!

So after the events of last night and going through being bummed about it as well as laughing about it, it got me thinking about the last 4 years I have spent with my car. So here’s the time line and then I’ll tell the story from last night.

I first got my car which is a 1996 Ford Escort in June of 2006

1. Minutes after getting my car home I backed over a Curb.

2. The next thing I remember is slamming into the curb behind Wendy’s in Medina – July of 2006

3. Bahaing through a field to unload my stuff at a party – July 2007

4. Running a red light and thus T-Boning another vehicle – August of 2007

5. Running over what ended up being a dead deer and dragging it to an ex-girlfriends house – late Jan. early Feb. 2008

6. Jumping a curb in the middle of winter and taking out a wooded street sign – December 2009 perhaps?

7. Hitting a deer and sending it flying at Mach-5 over my car – October 12, 2010

So lets go back to that night it was about 8:45 pm on October 12, 2010 and I was on my way home from a co-workers house from whom I was picking up a Paintball gun I had purchased that had been picked up on my behalf. So I’m driving down River Styx heading towards Medina and Bambi jumps right in front of me. I hit the breaks only to decrease speed by about 10 mph. So at this point I’m going about 40 mph right into the broadside of a deer. I hear THUMP and I see the deer still in standing mode flipping through the air in my opinion Up and to the left, after said deer left my line of sight I took time to realize I still have both headlights and the car is still running so I hit the gas and continue on home. I also realize the hood is ever so slightly screwed but I wait to asses the situation when I get home. As I get home I get out to check out what Bambi had done to my beloved vehicle. I stand looking and notice something just isn’t right and it occurs to me the grille had been a casualty in the collision.

Fast forward to the next day after work. I go to a junk yard and explain my situation to the guy behind the counter and he said they had believe it or not a ’96 Escort wagon sitting in the back. So I walk to the back of this junk yard scanning the whole time for this Ford Escort that will hopefully make things better since I had been down about my cars current condition because although it wasn’t a brand new ride it was my ride and has brought me through thick and thin as well as helped me make some amazing memories. So anyways I see across the lot an electric blue Escort and it indeed has a grille in beautiful shape. I pull said grille and head back to the shop and ask the same man behind the counter how much for the grille. He says ehhh give me 20 bucks I thought DEAL! because the one I found online was 27 bucks. I go through my wallet and find I don’t have 20 buck I have 14 and my card so I ask him to take my card and he declined since it was such a small part. I said okay I have 14 bucks as he sits and thinks momentarily he looks at me and says that will do. So now my car which is a BLACK 1996 Ford Escort now has a new addition of an ELECTRIC BLUE grille. After laughing about this whole thing in the end it worked out for the most part the initial striking of the deer did freak me out but its laughable now I mean look at all the things my car and I have been through and those are just the ones I vividly remember. Moral of the story kids take pride in what you have and trust me when I say you will never forget your first car.

Just Some Thoughts

Posted: September 27, 2010 in Uncategorized

Well there’s a few things that happen today that I’d like to bring up.
First reconnecting with a friend, I was approached by an old friend that I myself had been thinking about I feel neither of us knew exactly what to say it was great getting that text and catching up so for that I feel blessed.

Second, seeing a kid on a leash is bad enough but two! Come on! The kids were just looking at stuff on the side walk and the lady stood there like her dog was taking a shit. What happen to kids being able to be kids and having just a little bit of freedom? I remember when I was a kid my parents weren’t worried about what I was doing and I’d be gone all day! Back then everyday was an adventure for kids now it seems it’s restricted play like little jail birds. It’s annoying ditch the leash unless you have a dog! Not a child!

Third being a good citizen. I was driving on 76 today and saw a truck laying in the ditch and no one stopped to help. So I turned around and headed back east to check out the situation. As I stopped one other person stopped as probably 100 people drove by. The guy in the truck was fine it turned out and refused anyone to wait with him. I just don’t get why no one would stop there are laws in place to protect them so at least show some compassion! But I’d like to see some more people step up.

Well that was my day and just some thoughts to go with it.
